So, here’s a snippet of my story. . . . . . .
My husband Bill & I (Dina) are the co-founders of Teshuvah Road Ministries Inc, DBA (doing business as) Recovery Room 7. We co-founded this ministry back in 2011 to help others be able to find freedom from addiction. This ministry was born through my near death experience from a massive opioid overdose in 2008, after years of using 12 addictive Rx drugs given to me by my doctor. Yes, my doctor! This is called iatrogenic addiction… addiction caused by a licensed physician. It’s an egregious act of malpractice!
I named this blog, From Struggle to Strength, to let you know that anything is possible when Jesus Christ is your LORD and Savior, and you diligently follow HIM and HIS ways, as presented to us in the Bible. Being a born again believer is not about saying a man-made prayer to receive Him. It’s also not about going to a church building. It’s about understanding the Scriptures, confessing with your mouth that you know that Jesus is GOD, that HE came here as a baby who was 100% GOD and 100% man, that HE was crucified for our sins, died and arose from the grave, and went to be with our Heavenly Father to make a place for all of us who follow HIM. We must believe that HE IS who HE says HE IS, and do HIS will for our lives.
I struggled brutally during the years that I was addicted. My life was all about getting high, forgetting about life during the highs, sleeping it off, and then waking up with horrific cravings that would begin the next cycle all over again.
Whether it’s prescription drugs, street drugs, food, or alcohol, you have been made to believe a lie! That lie is that you have some kind of incurable ‘disease’ that keep you in a revolving door cycle of using… being sober… using… being sober… and on and on and on. You’ve been told a bold faced LIE that keeps you in addiction. Addiction being labeled as a ‘disease’ has always been only a ‘theory’ that has caused death and destruction throughout all the decades it has been accepted. It has caused countless human souls to suffer needlessly in addictions, and too many to overdose and die.
In the pages of this blog, is the truth from what I’ve been through and learned. My knowledge has come through exhaustive research, training, continuing education, and personal experience. There are articles on addictions, health, supplements, vaccines, cancer, and more, all in alignment with alternative health practices.
Always remember that whatever it is you are struggling with, you can receive strength, and the power to overcome, through Jesus Christ, once you have planted Him in your heart and mind as your Lord and Savior!
