Now that you’re begun to recover from your former addiction, it’s the right time to seek GOD for your purpose. We all have one (or more)! Yes, you too! Pray about it and GOD will show you through the Scriptures. I know! I know! You’ve been told by doctors and the media that you are diseased and hopeless. As I’ve emphasized in other posts, that’s a bold faced LIE of the enemy of our souls! Satan wants to stop you from your purpose so that he can tempt you to go back to your former addiction. Do NOT listen. Tell him, “get away from me, Satan, in the name of Jesus”.
It’s time to discover yourself from GOD’s perspective. You’ve committed to die to yourself when you made Jesus the LORD of your life. So, let’s move forward.
In Recovery Coaching, we never tell you what to do or who you are, we nudge you with questions in order for you to go on an exciting and beautiful journey of self-discovery. So, here are a few questions to start you off. When I coach people, we delve into this very deeply and it’s filled with fun, excitement, and self-discovery.
1 – Without obstacles, what would you love to be doing for Jesus for the rest of your life?
2 – Despite whether or not you feel equipped, what is your secret passion that would glorify GOD?
2 – As your mind is healing, what things do you think about wanting to do?
4 – What ways have you thought about to give back and pay it forward?
6 – How have your experiences in recovery influenced your view of your purpose?
7 – In what ways would you love to help others?
8 – What passions or interests have you discovered or have been reignited in you during your recovery?
9 – How can you story of recovery inspire others to begin their own recovery?
10 – Which Bible verses have meant the most to you during your recovery?
I invite you to leave your answers in the comments below so that you can inspire others or be inspired!
Have a blessed & beautiful rest of your day! 😊
